A Unique Opportunity right here in Toledo, Ohio…

Toledo Bible Institute & the Northwest Ohio School of Ministry has partnered with several institutions in order to bring to our area a unique and diverse opportunity for religious studies, and opportunities to earn certifications and degrees both here and abroad. We are in partnership with Bethlehem Bible College. BBC is located in Bethlehem, Israel and trains Palestinian born Christians for ministry as well as offering classes and seminars to Christians around the world who wish to know more about the land of the Bible and its culture. We are also a member of the Association of Christian Continuing Education Schools and Seminaries “ACCESS”. We have also partnered with the Moody Bible Institute to be a Distance Learning Center. Through this arrangement students can earn certificates of completion as well as actual accredited associate, bachelor and masters degrees. As a Bible Institute we also offer programs where students can earn four different certificates from ETA. And we have also partnered with Jerusalem University College.

TBI and the School of Ministry are applying for additional recognition and accreditation with the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges as an Affiliate Member in May 2003. TBI is housed in Pilgrim Church which is located at 1375 Sylvania Avenue in Northwest Toledo, Ohio. There is easy access to major freeways and ample, off-street, well lit, safe parking. Classes and programs are designed around the working adult, and a variety of options are offered in the traditional weekly classroom setting, once a month seminar/workshop settings, independent study, internet and correspondence. Students may audit classes if they choose to for their own edification or they may pick from a variety of certificate and degree programs from various schools and institutions or use combinations of varied curriculums to design a program that fits their specific needs. We have also partnered with Andover Newton in their e-learning program. TBI students will be able to take Master level, Theological Courses of study and receive credit towards an M.A. and an M.Div. degree.

TBI and the School of Ministry are actively seeking additional opportunities for Toledo area Christians. TBI and the School of Ministry seek as their mission the Hebraic Orientation of Education, and desire to “give it away” to all of those who feel called and who desire to be equipped for ministry. At TBI each student is individually accessed and is helped to discern the educational path that best suits their present and future calling and goals. All persons must apply and have the recommendation of their Pastor or Spiritual Director to enter any of the programs. Class costs are kept to a minimum. TBI and the School of Ministry do not charge tuition. The expense of books and materials needed for each class are the financial responsibility of every learner.

Classes and degrees that are offered through other institutions will be offered by those institutions at their determination. TBI will assist the student and will facilitate the classes, but will not charge anything in addition to or on top of what the other institutions may charge. TBI and the School of Ministry courses are “given away” in the ministry and the name of the One who has given all for us: Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. A general application form to TBI must be completed by every potential student. Those application forms can be obtained from the Pilgrim Church Office by calling 419-478-6012.
